Sandra J. Bench joined the CVB in 2007 and is a graduate of Western Michigan University. After graduation, Sandy had a successful career as a meeting planner where she managed corporate meetings and incentive programs. Today, Sandy is a member of Site (formerly Society of Incentive & Travel Executives) and is a member of the Chapter Mentor Committee. At the chapter level, she currently serves on the board of directors and is a past president of Site Texas. She is also a Hospitality Partner for Financial & Insurance Conference Planners and a member of the Alamo Area Hospitality Association. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys golfing, running and volunteering for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. She serves as Vice-Chairman of the Hospitality Committee and is proud to have been named the committee’s 2007 Volunteer of the Year.
